Lighthouse Point is located just north of Ft Lauderdale. Lighthouse Point is a small medium/upper-scale community of mostly waterfront homes. This particular home, while “land-locked” and somewhat dwarfed by its waterfront neighbors, also enjoys enhanced value due to the number of waterfront comparables. This lent itself to the Owner affording a renovation of the entire existing footage, as well as building an addition that more than doubled the size of the existing house.

John performed this extensive renovation and designed and built the addition, which included a new 2-car garage, new indoor Laundry Room, new large Master Suite, with an exotic, marble-enhanced Master Bathroom, with whirlpool tub blending into and a part of the new roomy, walk-in shower. The addition also included a new poolside Family Room, as well as converting the old 1-car garage into a new formal Dining Room. The home received an entirely new roof, new paver driveway and a new more pronounced Front Entry.

To this day, this “new” home stands out as one of the most timely, current, even though not waterfront homes in the City of Lighthouse Point.
